Big Bulls Missing
« on: November 01, 2010, 12:19:28 PM »
Seems very quiet this year for big bulls on this site, especially during modern firearm season, with the weather I would have thought the hunting would be pretty good but perhaps guys just aren't posting their pics anymore.

The elk seem to be hiding out right now.  They were every where last month.  There not stupid they are hiding out like the deer have this year.  The elk will start showing back up towards the end of the month.

took PathfinderJR out opening day but we didn't see a single animal.  They are all hunkered down.  Some of it could be the weather... gotta feeling something big may be coming... :dunno:

I usually see so many elk i loose count. This year, nothing in two days. Maybe they just are not around where I hunt this year. Weird.

Rasbo,  I saw a nice 6X6 on the 3 road.  Watched it for about 10 min.  He had some cows still with him.

I've seen quite a few lately. our group has killed 2 pretty good ones. Don't have permission to post pics.

one was a 320 class 7, the other a 350 class 6.

saw 12-15 bulls on saturday but no giants.
